High Interest Tasks

Tasks that are of high interest to students helps the student to engage in the activity because it is something that they enjoy and will want to complete.

Some of the classroom favorites are my food related products. I for one am a fan of food and when presented in various ways, students can learn vocational skills, math skills, matching, etc. Peaking the students interest will help them to enjoy learning and to complete the task at hand.

Here are just two of the many tasks in my store that help with various skills:

Vocational Customer Order Task - Verbal and Nonverbal Version

Vocational Customer Order Task - Verbal and Nonverbal Version (Adaptive Tasks)
This product helps the student to learn a vocational skill by filling customer orders and includes both verbal and nonverbal direction.

Binder Price Matching Task-Mexican Meals

Binder Price Matching Task-Mexican Meals (Adaptive Tasks)
This product is great for following a menu and adding up orders to find the cost of the meal which is a great life and math skill.

I invite you to look at these products and more to help create interest and provide for your students educational needs.
