Video Store Task
The video task is a great vocational task and wonderful conversation starter for those students who like movies. I made several visuals of popular family movies and put a piece of magnet strip on the back of each one. You can line them up on a cookie sheet or if you have a magnet board like I did than even better. The videos are placed on the board in no particular order and then students match up the videos to customer orders like the one shown. If you are working with a student on this task then get ready for movie conversations. Movies can be a great connection to open up conversations with students which is great!

I wish I could put this in my store! I made this task up before I started selling. It was for this single classroom only and not for sale so I just used images of movie posters to create the DVD selections to use for task. I am not able to reproduce the same thing for a sell item because I would be going against copyright rules using images that do not belong to me. You can do like I did and create the same type of task for your own personal use. I am sorry that I can not do this for you in my store. I might try to create my own movie cover one of these days soon and present it as a task in my store. It just wouldn't be any movies that the kids would know like this one is. So sorry!
