Activity/Time of Day Match is a task to help students recognize what time of day various activities are done. I made tome frame card headings like 6:00 am -11:59 am, 12:00 pm-5:59 pm, and 6:00 pm-10:00pm. Next I made visual pictures with a time written below each picture. For example: eating breakfast and below the picture I placed a time 6:30am, walking the dog at 7:00 pm, etc. The student looks at each picture and places it under the time of day it belongs. This is a challenge for students to recognize the times that fall within the hours on the time frame cards. This is a good task to reinforce a math time unit.

Matching Time Task
Matching time is a great task to help reinforce a math time unit. I made this task by finding an image of a clock face with no hands. Once you have the image you are using, copy the image on a word document and copy several faces. Next, click on the arrow shape in word and make individual small and large hands pointing to a different time on each clock face. You can fill in the arrows by going to format tab and clicking on black for the shape fill. Next is to make matching time cards that the student can match up to the correct clock. Always remember to laminate!

Sensory Alphabet Match
This task is easy to make. You can purchase alphabet stickers at the dollar store and use items like beans or rice in a bucket to hide the letters. Place one set of the stickers attached to card stock and the other set with the sticker backs still on them, hidden in the beans. Students like the feel of the beans, and finding the letters. As they place each letter correctly have them say what each letter is.

Domino Task
Using dominos to help with math can be fun when presented in a different way. Thanks to an idea found on Pinterest, I made my own visual of a domino parking lot and each parking space is occupied by the domino that matches the number of the parking space. The dominoes are first parked in domino city and then driven to the parking space that it belongs. This is a good basic number reinforcement task.

Packing for Vacation Task
Packing for vacation is a fun task that is easy to make. Again, I am all about recycling products and keeping things low cost. For this task I recycled three small emergency kit boxes to use for the suit cases. On the front of the boxes I placed pictures of three vacation destinations. Next was to make packing lists for each box. I made a girl packing list and separate boy list depending on the student doing the task. The next step was to find pictures of the items on the lists to make a visual for them to follow. This visual includes the words under each item from the packing list. When the student packs a suitcase, he/she closes the box and it is checked for accuracy.
